  • beautiful vegan cook books
  • a super cute recipe holder
  • a mini chopper that’s not too loud
  • large eco friendly pans
  • an air fryer
  • baking tray sets
  • decorative vegan themed pictures or plaques for the kitchen
  • a blender
  • a stylish produce basket for the counter
  • whimsical aprons (consider including a ‘chefs hat’ for kicks!)
  • vegan themed potholders
  • a spoon rest that screams ‘vegan’
  • eco friendly storage containers
  • a tofu seasoning set
  • a shirt giving reference to the vegan cook!
  • vegan themed hand towels
  • an immersion blender (great for adding plant based milk foam to tea or coffee!)
  • vegan themed magnets for the fridge
  • tickets to a vegan cooking event or course
  • a ‘good old fashioned’ gift card to their favorite specialty food store

A Fancy Set of Knives

We’ve (and by “we” I mean my husband and I) had this set for such a long time (~8 plus years) that I had a time finding it on Amazon!

This set comes with several different knife types (for example, we use the long serrated for cutting bread loaves, medium for tomatoes).

Unexpectedly, I’ve also used the scissors a lot (who ever came up with the idea to include scissors with a knife set is genius 😎 )

Finally, if you are short on space in the kitchen (me 🙋‍♀️) I appreciate that the wooden storage block is quite narrow. So this set nests pleasantly out of the way.

Beautiful Vegan Cook Books

Admittedly, If I’m looking for recipes, I often go to the internet.

However, those don’t translate to physical gifts (well, unless you make a recipe and gift it yourself I guess)!

Cue in 100% plant based cook books with beautiful images (plus this gift idea looks incredibly fancy on a kitchen book shelf!

A Super Cute Recipe Card Holder

Cookbooks not your thing? Or perhaps your vegan friend is more of a internet recipe seeker (like me).

I was given this recipe holder for Christmas a few years ago. It looks super cute in my kitchen, and neatly stores my recipes.

A Mini Chopper That’s Not Too Loud!

If your vegan foodie likes to chop alot of things like me, this idea will likely save them time!

I’ve tried a mini chopper or two, and one of my complaints is how loud they are.

In my humble opinion (and my husbands) this is much quieter compared to the other ones we’ve tried.

The other thing I love about this one is that it has a stainless steel instead of plastic base, so I can put it in the dishwasher (FYI: do not put the motor in).

A lot of mini choppers have a plastic base, and I don’t put plastic in the dishwasher.

If you know someone who would also be a fan, you can find it here:

Eco Friendly Frying Pans

Many vegans also try to reduce their environmental impact via non food choices, so put eco friendly gifts on your idea bank!

These pans from GreenPan look super cute, use recycled material, and the coating does not contain PFAS- despite being non stick (reference here).

We like to make things like stirfry, tofu or Just Egg scramble with this pan. Bonus: its large so we have plenty of leftovers (sometimes 😉 )

An Air Fryer

If you’re like me, sometimes you wait till the last minute to think about supper.

Sound like your vegan friend? Consider looking into an air fryer as a gift!

I was super impressed with how this model cuts down on cooking time (probably saved me about half the time it would have taken in with our oven).

As a big fan of tofu (but not a fan of how long they take to cook in the oven), I wanted to try out an air fryer with tofu in mind!

Check out the results – restaurant worthy texture (crispy on the outside and soft on the inside 😊 )!

Picture of a hand holding a piece of slightly crispy tofu.

The couple things that I will say is that the tofu did stick a bit to the model I used, and this air fryer is quite large.

However, I’ve only used one of many air fryers that are available! And they come in many size ranges.

Below is the Power XL air fryer I made that delectable looking tofu with.

Baking Cup Sets (Not just for Cupcakes 😉 )

Sure, I’ve made muffins and cupcakes, but you can also save time making tofu, lentil, bean, etc “meat” loaf with cupcake pans!

And in my experience, the silicone one (like the ones in the link below) have been easier to clean than stainless steel (I absolutely loathe cleaning those out).

  1. I love the gift recommendations in this post. A quality set of knives and well written vegan cookbooks are a practical gifts for vegan cooks in my opinion.

  2. I bought my Air Fryer this year, definitely a great purchase as I’ve used it loads and saves money on energy using it rather than the oven. Thanks for sharing.
