10 Gift Ideas for Vegan Cooks

A Fancy Set of Knives

We’ve (and by “we” I mean my husband and I) had this set for such a long time (~8 plus years) that I had a time finding it on Amazon!

This set comes with several different knife types (for example, we use the long serrated for cutting bread loaves, medium for tomatoes).

Unexpectedly, I’ve also used the scissors a lot (who ever came up with the idea to include scissors with a knife set is genius 😎 )

Finally, if you are short on space in the kitchen (me 🙋‍♀️) I appreciate that the wooden storage block is quite narrow. So this set nests pleasantly out of the way.

You can find it the set on Amazon here (affiliate link*):

Beautiful Vegan Cook Books

Admittedly, If I’m looking for recipes, I often go to the internet.

However, those don’t translate to physical gifts (well, unless you make a recipe and gift it yourself I guess)!

Cue in 100% plant based cook books with beautiful images. Plus this gift idea looks incredibly fancy on a kitchen book shelf!

Here’s just a few mouth watering books that were recommended to me by fellow Dietitians (affiliate links*)!

Super Cute Recipe Tins

Cookbooks not your thing? Or perhaps your vegan friend is more of a internet recipe seeker (like me).

I was given this recipe tin for Christmas a few years ago. It looks super cute in my kitchen, and neatly stores my recipes.

A Mini Chopper That’s Not So Loud!

If your vegan likes to chop alot of things like me, this idea will likely save them time!

I’ve tried a mini chopper or two, and one of my complaints is how loud they are.

In my humble opinion (and my husbands) this is much quieter compared to other the ones we’ve tried.

The other thing I love about this one is that it has a stainless steel instead of plastic base , so I can put it in the dishwasher (FYI: do not put the motor in).

A lot of mini choppers have a plastic base, and I don’t put plastic in the dishwasher.

If you know someone who would also be a fan, you can find it here (affiliate link*):

Eco Friendly Frying Pans

Many vegans also try to reduce their environmental impact via non food choices, so put eco friendly gifts on your idea bank!

These pans from GreenPan look super cute, use recycled material, and the coating does not contain PFAS- despite being non stick (reference here).

We like to make things like stirfry and Just Egg scramble with this pan. Bonus: its large so we have plenty of leftovers (sometimes 😉 )

An Air Fryer

If you’re like me, sometimes you wait till the last minute to think about supper.

If that sound like some one you know- consider looking into an air fryer!

I was super impressed with how this model cuts down on cooking time (probably save me about half the time it would have taken in with our oven).

As a big fan of tofu (but not a fan of how long they take to cook in the oven I wanted to try out an air fryer with tofu in mind!

Check out the results – restaurant worthy texture (crispy on the outside and soft on the inside 😛 )!

Picture of a hand holding a piece of slightly crispy tofu.

The one thing I will say is that the tofu did stick a bit to the model I used.

However, I’ve only used one of many air fryers that are available! And they come in many size ranges.

Below is the Power XL air fryer I made that delectable looking tofu with (affiliate link*):

Apron’s That Scream “Vegan Cook!”

These aprons tell dinner guests what they can expect without actually “telling” them 😉

Which saying was your favorite? (also let me know if you had a few laughs)

A Powerful Blender

I mean, a heavy duty one that can not only make smoothies, but soups, and cashew “cheese” and you name it!

The Ninja HB 152 Food Heat-IQ is my favorite thus far. I love that the body is glass instead of plastic, and even has a has settings that heats the food (such as for soup).

You can find my favorite blender below (affiliate link*):

Baking Cup Sets (Not just for Cupcakes 😉 )

Sure, I’ve made muffins and cupcakes, but you can also save time making tofu, lentil, bean, etc “meat” loaf with cupcake pans!

And in my experience the silicone one below has been easier to clean than my stainless steel one (I absolutely loathe cleaning those out).

You can get check out the set I have below (affiliate link*):

A Snazzy Fruit Basket

Keep fruits and veggies top of mind (as if they weren’t already) with a handy fruit basket.

I can’t seem to find the one we got in the featured image at the top (lets just say we have had it for a while).

But you get the idea. There are so many styles out there. Here’s one I’ve had on my list for awhile because apples are ❤, *ahem, hint to husband 😉 (affiliate link*):

  1. I bought my Air Fryer this year, definitely a great purchase as I’ve used it loads and saves money on energy using it rather than the oven. Thanks for sharing.
